About Us

USArmenian Partnership

USArmenian Partnership (USAP) brings American Armenians together across generations and communities. We welcome newcomers, celebrate our heritage, and create social, cultural, and educational opportunities for connection, civic participation, and service. We cherish and uphold the American values of democracy, freedom, human rights, the rule of law, and equal opportunity. By strengthening our community and recognizing American Armenians’ contributions to the United States, we also foster meaningful ties and cooperation between the United States and Armenia.

At a Glance

Based in Los Angeles, USAP is a community home for Armenian Americans: a place to meet, learn, serve and speak up, and a bridge that keeps the friendship between the United States and Armenia growing.

Armenian Americans have long contributed to the life and vitality of the United States. We aim to build on that legacy by supporting newcomers as they integrate into American life, helping every generation participate fully, and creating more ways for our community to serve and contribute. In doing so, we strengthen both the Armenian American community and the ties between our two nations.

Mission Statement

Building a Lasting Partnership Between the United States and Armenia

One community, two homelands: stronger together at home, giving back to the country we live in, and building a lasting bond between the United States and Armenia.

Across generations, Armenian Americans have contributed to American society through their work, service, culture, leadership, and civic participation. We honor that legacy and aim to strengthen it by connecting people, sharing opportunities, and helping our community contribute even more fully to the life of the United States.

Connecting our community

We connect Armenian Americans across generations, regions, and backgrounds so they can support one another, celebrate their shared heritage, and work toward common goals. A connected and engaged community can help its members thrive, pass Armenian heritage on to future generations, and make lasting contributions to the broader society.

Supporting newcomers to integrate

We are committed to supporting Armenian newcomers as they integrate into American life and helping them find connection, opportunity, and a sense of belonging. We help newcomers take part fully in education, work, civic engagement, and community service, so they can put their skills, talents, and experience to work for the benefit of the United States. Their success builds their own future, strengthens the Armenian American community, and carries forward a longstanding tradition of contribution.

Advancing shared interests

Peace, prosperity, opportunity and strong communities matter to Americans and Armenians alike. We bring people together around these goals and encourage cooperation that benefits both nations and their people. Armenian Americans’ relationships, experience, and contributions can help deepen this partnership.

Honoring our history

Our Goals

Six Goals Guide Our Work

a

Build a connected Armenian American community

Bring Armenian Americans together across generations, regions, professions, and backgrounds. Create welcoming opportunities to build relationships, exchange ideas, and contribute to shared goals. A stronger community can better support its members and expand the positive contributions Armenian Americans make to the United States.

b

Support newcomers to integrate

Help Armenian newcomers integrate into American life and connect with the community. Encourage access to education, employment, civic participation, and community service, so newcomers can use their abilities and talents for the benefit of the United States. As they find their footing, they strengthen the Armenian American community and contribute to the country’s continued growth.

c

Celebrate and pass on Armenian heritage

Preserve and share Armenian history, language, culture, and traditions. Encourage younger generations to explore their roots and carry Armenian heritage forward as a vibrant part of American life. The contributions of Armenian Americans have enriched the country’s cultural and civic fabric; preserving that heritage helps this legacy continue.

d

Empower Armenian Americans to lead and serve

Encourage community members to share their knowledge, skills, and experience. Support leadership, mentorship, civic engagement, and service that build on Armenian Americans’ longstanding contributions and strengthen both local communities and the broader society.

e

Strengthen ties between Armenian Americans and Armenia

Connect people, ideas, and opportunities across the Armenian American community and Armenia. Promote meaningful engagement that supports Armenia’s future, deepens relationships between our communities, and recognizes the role Armenian Americans can play in building cooperation between the two countries.
